Our mission

Engineering and fabrication experience and capabilities, plus a wide range of materials and finishes, provide a single source for your metalwork needs — and single source responsibility for the complicated ornamental portions of a project.

0 Year established Architectural metalwork and railing out of Decatur, Alabama.
0 Projects completed Large and small, from a single gazebo to an entire building complex.

Leaders in architectural metalwork & railing

We routinely handle projects large and small, from an individual gazebo to rail systems for an entire building complex. We also handle single projects that include a wide variety of different elements such as rails, monumental stairs, wall cladding, light fixtures, column covers and more.

Our mission statement is "Provide a quality product in a timely manner." To achieve this we constantly interact with all concerned parties through various means such as verbal and written communication, CPM scheduling and site visits.

Case studies

One source for the ornamental package

Engineering, fabrication and installation sit together, so the rails, stairs, cladding and fixtures on a job are detailed by the people who will build them.

That single source responsibility is what keeps the complicated ornamental portions of a project from becoming somebody else’s problem halfway through the schedule.

Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital

Architect: Donald Blair Architects · Contractor: Turner Construction Company

CSI provided the monumental stair, railings, stainless steel cladding and decorative ribbon banners. The railings have two colors with a faux finish and stainless steel stars, a stainless steel top rail and double stainless steel hand rails; the remaining materials are carbon steel. The ribbon banners at the intermediate landing and second floor lobby were laser cut and spiraled, and the monumental stair is serpentine with a flare out at the bottom. All materials were painted and finished in our shop.
